Anne Pinchera is Prior Learning Assessment Coordinator in the Assessment Unit at Excelsior College. Along with her responsibilities in Prior Learning Assessment, she is actively involved with alternative methods of assessment in simulations and animations. An active participant at the CAEL conventions for the past few years, she is currently in the process of developing a publication for portfolio assessment covering evaluating portfolios in hard copy and electronic formats. Anne is a member of AAEEBL, an international portfolio development community, Microsoft DreamSpark, Association for Virtual Life, and is involved with Second Life as a means of assessing adult learning.
